My name is Rabia Rehman. I am a Makeup Artist, a Licensed Esthetician and a UGC Content Creator based in Austin, TX.
I have nearly 7 years of experience in creating content and working with professionals in the beauty industry. I create short videos on Tiktok/IG and loves to provide user generated content to brands to turn videos into sales. My work covers all things beauty from everyday looks to product recommendations.
WHAT IS UGC?
User-generated content, alternatively known as user-created content, is any form of content, such as images, videos, testimonials, text, and audio, that has been posted by users on online platforms such as social media or other channels.
Why is ugc important for a brand?
One of the top benefits of user-generated content is that it serves as excellent social proof. Seeing content from real customers increases the brand's credibility and brings the brand’s promises into perspective.
Another benefit of user-generated content is that people across ages and demographics just trust UGC more.
Another added benefit of UGC is that it can actually boost the effectiveness of your ads. Studies have found that using user-generated photos in ads gets three times the click-through rate.
